Introducing Lumina – a fully automatic slatted pool cover combining European design and technology with a practical system suited to Australian swimming pools.

Lumina is designed to retrofit to existing pools as well as new pool projects. The roller and Lumina posts are mounted at one end of the pool, making it possible to add an automatic cover without requiring an underground cover pit.

Lumina is primarily designed for rectangular swimming pools with straight, parallel sides.

This makes the system particularly suitable for many existing Australian residential pools.

Lumina is not designed for free-form pools, including kidney-shaped pools and pools with significant curves or irregular shapes.

One of the main advantages of Lumina is its ability to be retrofitted to many existing swimming pools.

The Lumina posts and roller assembly are positioned at one end of the pool. The slatted cover travels across the water surface when closing and rolls neatly onto the roller when opening.

Because the system sits at the end of the pool, an existing pool does not necessarily need to have been originally constructed to accommodate an automatic pool cover.

Lumina can also be incorporated into new pool projects.

Lumina is supplied as a complete system manufactured to suit the dimensions of the individual pool. For suitable rectangular pools, the system has been designed to allow straightforward installation by a competent DIY customer, pool builder or installer.

Please note: DIY suitability depends on the individual pool and site conditions. Any electrical work that legally requires a licensed electrician must be completed by an appropriately licensed person.

Easy Automatic Operation

Lumina can be operated in two simple ways:

• Through the Lumina smartphone app
• Directly from the controls located on the Lumina posts
• This provides convenient control of the automatic opening and closing of the pool cover.

The Lumina cover is made from interlocking polycarbonate slats that float directly on the surface of the pool water.

The individual slats connect to form the complete pool cover and roll onto the aluminium roller when the cover is opened.

The Lumina posts feature integrated LED lighting, adding a useful lighting feature around the pool area at night.

The LED lighting can be controlled through the Lumina smartphone app, including changing the light colour.

Before manufacture, our engineering team prepares a technical drawing for each Lumina project.

The drawing confirms important information such as:

• Pool dimensions
• Cover dimensions
• Roller location
• Lumina post positioning
• Relevant installation measurements.

Lumina systems are custom made according to pool dimensions, with pricing based primarily on the length and width of the pool and the selected configuration. As a result, pricing is inherently variable – final cost depends on each pool’s specific size, shape, and features, so quotes are tailored on a case-by-case basis rather than fixed to a standard rate. Products are securely packaged for transit, and shipping costs are calculated on enquiry based on the client’s location and requirements.
